The new governor, from kerala, can do very much regarding this. What about asking a teacher’s representative to go and meet him.

this is very essential that ismu convert into iit. because iit are taking exam for this institute. if a student get qualify the iit and getting admin in this institute he is thinking where get admin.

Most of the coverage of this issue so far has been on eastern region newspapers or the state editions of the national daily’s. Try and see if we can get more wider coverage in electronic media and print media. Prof Pramod Pathak of dept of management studies will be of help in this reagard. Also you can talk to the TV reporters based in Ranchi. But dont leave the stories to be created by them. Prepare a well drafted story for them with the supporting documents and then give the same to them.

Maybe the appeals might be entertained by the PM. I think we should all appeal to our PM through publishing numerous appeals on the website.

one simple thing is that :
the iits are the symbols of excellence in technical education in nation .
what is an institute equal or better than iits in technical educaTION CALLED??????
OBVIOUSLY, an IIT.
THEN why is ISM still not an IIT.?????
an institute getting just 20% of the funds alloted to iits is today standing equivalent to many iits & even better than the iit in assam in placement record.
NO govt. institute can stand without adequate support of govt.
right now govt. has a golden opportunity to convert ism to iit & help this already premier institute in earth sciences excel in field in technical education.

sir i think first year wud hav no problem going to delhi if u will jst motivate them,some days before going. main problem is 2nd n 3rd year u shd convince them to go only dis tym for thier iit dhanbad sir we hav great expectations from u all ,we 1st year can do every thing to convert ism to iit
